On the morning of October 26, the departure ceremony for the national final adjudication of the 15th "Challenge Cup" Chinese College Students' Entrepreneurship Plan Competition was held at the Roadshow Hall of the Library on Qingshan Campus. Lü Yong, President of WUST, attended the ceremony and delivered a speech, which was presided over by Shen Jiwei, Deputy Secretary of the CPC WUST Committee.

Lü Yong extended congratulations to all teams that have advanced to the national final, and encouraged participants to carry forward WUST’s steel-like qualities, root themselves in industrial needs, target cutting-edge challenges, and integrate their scientific and entrepreneurial aspirations into the overall development of the country. He put forward three expectations for the participants. First, all participating teachers and students should forge ahead with firm confidence and full enthusiasm, and deliver excellent performances that demonstrate both their competence and poise. Second, all schools should anchor their goals, fully deliver on their responsibilities, and make solid efforts to refine competition projects and secure resource support. Third, the Youth League Committee should coordinate cross-campus efforts and provide sustained support, deliver full-process services throughout the competition, and guide more young students to engage in scientific and technological innovation practices.

Shen Jiwei encouraged the participating teachers and students to bring the youthful vigor nurtured by Qin Lake and the steel-like resilience forged at WUST to the national arena, showcase WUST’s strength in scientific and technological innovation, and write a new chapter for the university.

Wang Yuanyuan, Secretary of the Youth League Committee, delivered a special report covering the overview of national final projects, the university’s full-cycle preparation work, competition discipline and travel support. Teams that have advanced to the final adjudication took the stage one by one to deliver roadshow presentations. Supervisors and team members of all participating projects, as well as principal persons in charge, deputy Party secretaries and Youth League secretaries of relevant schools, attended the departure ceremony.

It is reported that the national final adjudication of the 15th "Challenge Cup" Chinese College Students' Entrepreneurship Plan Competition will be held at Dalian University of Technology from October 30 to November 3. A total of 8 projects from WUST have advanced to the national final round.
