        At noon on June 6, the WUST hosted the 8th "Qinhu United, Rowing Together" Dragon Boat Friendship Race by the shores of Qinhu Lake. Vice President Shen Jiwei delivered an opening speech, Student Affairs Office Deputy Secretary Xiang Fangxin announced the competition rules, and a representative athlete took the oath. Deputy Party Secretary Sun Guosheng performed the eye-dotting ceremony. The "Qinshui" team, consisting of members from the WUST's Dragon Boat Club, competed against the "Ganghun" team, composed of graduate students, in the dragon boat finals. The "Qinshui" team emerged victorious. The event also featured a series of Dragon Boat Festival cultural activities. Numerous international students participated in traditional activities such as making zongzi (rice dumplings) and mugwort sachet, experiencing the rich heritage of the Dragon Boat Festival.
