WUST News Professor Khadzhynova Olena, President of Pryazovskyi State Technical University, Ukraine, and Professor Hvizdoš Pavol, Director of the Institute of Materials Research of the Slovak Academy of Sciences, visited WUST on May 30. President Ni Hongwei and Vice President LV Yong attended the symposium.

Ni Hongwei welcomed the guests and introduced WUST's history, talent cultivation, education and teaching, and scientific research. Ni Hongwei said that WUST, Pryazovskyi State Technical University and the Institute of Materials Research have strong professional connection, a good foundation and great potential for cooperation. He hopes that both sides will strengthen exchanges and cooperation to achieve complementary advantages, strong alliances, mutual benefit and win-win results.

Khadzhynova Olena and Hvizdoš Pavol both thanked WUST for the warm reception and introduced the development of their university and research institute in recent years respectively. They hope that take this symposium as an opportunity, deeper understanding and greater integration will be achieved to promote more cooperation and development in scientific and technological innovation, talent training and application of scientific and technological advances hand in hand.

KhadzhynovaOlena and Ni Hongwei signed cooperation agreements on behalf of the two universities.

The heads of the International Project Department and the Physics Department of Pryazovskyi State Technical University, experts from the Institute of Materials Research of the Slovak Academy of Sciences, and heads of the Collaborative Innovation Center for high performance steel materials and applications, the Office of International Exchange and Cooperation Department, and the Office of Research and Development attended meeting.
