Scientists from Mongolia Visit WUST

        A delegation led by Khulan·Bayasgalan, a researcher of the Mongolian Academy of Science, and Baatarkhuu, the chairman of Mongolian association of Chinese History and culture Studies, visited WUST on July 16. Ma Teng, the vice president of WUST, met the guests in the No.401 meeting room of the Steel Building.

        Ma Teng warmly welcomed Khulan·Bayasgalan and his delegation, and introduced the scientific and technological innovation achievements of WUST over the past few years. He hoped to further strengthen the cooperation with Mongolian scientists in various fields at multiple levels, promote in-depth cooperation in talent training, scientific research platforms, international exchanges and other aspects, and make new contributions to scientific and technological innovation of the "the Belt and Road" initiative. Ma Teng awarded guest professor certificates to Khulan·Bayasgalan and Baatarkhuu on WUST's behalf.

        Khulan·Bayasgalan introduced the basic situation of the Mongolian Academy of Science and looked forward to deepening the exchanges and cooperation with WUST in scientific research platforms and technological innovation. Baatarkhuu introduced the exchanges and cooperation between China and Mongolia in various fields, praising the achievements of WUST in talent cultivation, scientific and technological innovation, and hoping to carry out more in-depth and extensive cooperation with WUST in various fields. Before the meeting,      Khulan·Bayasgalan and his delegation visited the International Iron and Steel Research Institute and the Provincial and Ministerial Collaborative Innovation Center for High Performance Steel Materials and Applications.

Wu Kaiming, Foreign Academician of the Russian Academy of Engineering, Executive Deputy Director of the Provincial and Ministerial Collaborative Innovation Center for High Performance Steel Materials and Applications, Xiao Qiaoling, Director of the International Exchange and Cooperation Office, and Xia Xuhui, President of the Academy of Science and Technology Development, WUST attended the meeting.
