WUST News (Reporter: Song Qin) On January 6, 2025, Cuaa.net, a national third-party university evaluation agency, officially released the 2025 Chinese University Ranking List. Our university has reached a new milestone, ranking 83^rd in the national list, and ranking first in Hubei provincial list for six consecutive years. the CUAA Chinese Universities Ranking List, the university became the first in Hubei Province to enter the national Top 100 since 2020, and its ranking has risen for six consecutive years.

The CUAA Chinese Universities Ranking was first published in 2003 and has a history of 23 years. It has become a leading brand in the ranking of Chinese universities with extensive social influence, credibility, reference value and innovation. The evaluation system for the 2025 CUAA Chinese University Ranking consists of 12 primary indicators, including university management level, ideological and political education, teaching quality, outstanding alumni, high-level talents, disciplines and majors, scientific research projects, scientific research bases, scientific research achievements, social services, social reputation, and international influence. The systematic evaluation is based on the framework of "big platform, big team, big project, big achievements, and big alumni", covering more than 900 evaluation indicators.

In recent years, WUST has focused on high-quality development, firmly established the goal of "making breakthroughs and leading the way", actively served national major strategic needs, fully integrated into the overall development of Hubei, promoted the integrated development of education, technology, and talent, and continuously enhanced its contributions and visibility in the modernization of Hubei Province.

WUST will fully implement the spirit of the 20^th National Congress of the Communist Party of China and the Second and Third Plenary Sessions of the 20^th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China as well as the spirit of the important speeches made by President Xi Jinping during his inspection of Hubei, stay true to the mission, be grateful and proactive, work with practical determination, and seize the opportunity of the national "Double First-Class" initiative expansion, deepen the university's comprehensive reform, advance the integrated development of education, technology, and talent, take the lead in building first-class disciplines in provincial universities, and make new and greater contributions to the Chinese-style modernization of Hubei Province with practical actions and results of high-quality development.
