    WUST News (Correspondent: Wang Xiang Photographer: Chen Zichuan) On the morning of May 18, vice presidents of Jilin University – Lambton College (JULC) Zhang Chi and He Yao paid a visit to WUST, secretary of the WUST CPC Committee Xu Yanbing and vice president of WUST Liu Jing greeted the guests in the main building at the Qingshan Campus.

    Xu Yanbing expressed WUST's sincere welcome to JULC's intention to conduct education projects in Wuhan and passed on WUST's hope to expand cooperation channels and build cooperative relations between both sides in the cooperation of international education, the development of new cooperation modes for international education, and the construction of international education platforms.

    Zhang Chi introduced in detail the education scale, enrollment mode, teaching characteristics, and other aspects of JULC. He Yao explained the history and international cooperation of JULC and conveyed JULC's willingness to conduct education projects in Wuhan.

    Liu Jing added that, as one of the key selected universities for the "Double First-Class" initiative in Hubei Province, WUST has made remarkable achievements in international cooperation on scientific research and talent cultivation in recent years. In the future, WUST will increase its efforts to expand and strengthen international projects.

    Director of the Office of International Relations of WUST Xiao Qiaoning briefed the guests on the Chinese-foreign cooperation in running schools and exchange of students and teachers, and scientific research cooperation between WUST and overseas universities and colleges. Director of the Office of Development and Planning Chen Zhigang of WUST added WUST's measures to support the development and construction of international cooperation during China's 14th Five-Year Plan.

    The participants include deputy director of the Office of International Relations Yang Xi, vice dean of the International School Jiang Zhigang, and representative of Hubei Education Investment Corporation Jin Chunyan.

    As affiliated to Jilin University, JULC is a Chinese-foreign higher education institute that offers undergraduate education by cooperating with Canadian and American universities and colleges, which is approved by the Ministry of Education of China.
