    2025 International Conference on Green Energy and Multi-level Transportation Systems Opens at WUST

    WUST News (Correspondents Xia Songling and Xu Huiting, photographer Tan Jiayi) On the morning of November 2, 2025, the International Conference on Green Energy and Multi-level Transportation Systems commenced at the Chongshi Auditorium of the Huangjiahu Campus, Wuhan University of Science and Technology (WUST). The conference brought together over 100 representatives, including Bao Shenxu, Member of the WUST Party Committee Standing Committee; Anarbaev Maksatbek, Vice-Rector of the International University of Kyrgyzstan; scholars from more than ten domestic and international universities; and industry leaders from the local automotive and transportation sectors. The opening ceremony was chaired by Yan Yunbing, Dean of the School of Automobile and Traffic Engineering.

    Bao Shenxu delivered the opening address and officially announced the conference's commencement. He highlighted that under the global dual-carbon goals, the transportation sector is accelerating its transformation toward three-dimensional, intelligent, and green development. "This conference will aggregate global resources to support China in seizing the forefront of industrial transformation in transportation," he stated. Bao outlined WUST's disciplinary strengths, research achievements, and talent cultivation initiatives in related fields. He expressed hope that experts would share cutting-edge insights, deepen industry-academia-research collaboration, and foster an innovation ecosystem, extending his best wishes for the conference's success. Bao added, "We hope this platform will strengthen cooperation among universities, research institutions, and enterprises, connect global innovation resources, promote joint collaborative innovation, and co-author a new chapter in open, integrated development!"

    The conference will continue in a hybrid format, combining offline main venue with online satellite venues. It will feature academic reports by experts from institutions such as Beihang University, Southeast University, Tongji University, Dongfeng Motor R&D Center, and VOYAH Motor Technology Co., Ltd. Site visits to enterprises and other activities will also be conducted to deepen academic exchanges and practical discussions in the field.
