WUST News - On January 3, Prof. CK Michael Tse, Vice President of City University of Hong Kong (CityU), led a delegation to visit the Wuhan University of Science and Technology (WUST). Vice President Ma Teng of the WUST warmly welcomed the guests and both parties discussed faculty exchanges and joint PhDprograms. The meeting was chaired by Liu Bin, Dean of the School of Artificial Intelligence and Automation.

Ma Teng warmly welcomed Prof. CK Michael Tse and his delegation on behalf of the WUST. He gave an overview of the school's historical evolution, disciplinary development, scientific research, international exchanges, and the circumstances surrounding our faculty's visit to CityU. He engaged in an in-depth discussion affirming the support and training provided by CityU to our faculty and expressed the hope to continue working together to strengthen faculty exchanges, joint PhD training, and other collaborative efforts.
Prof. CK Michael Tse expressed his gratitude for the hospitality and highlighted CityU's institutional profile and achievements in technology commercialization. He emphasized the delegation's commitment to advancing substantive collaboration between the two universities through this visit.
The meeting was attended by senior representatives from the Office of International Relations, the School, and the School of Artificial Intelligence and Automation.
During the visit, the delegation toured WUST's specialized laboratories. Prof. CK Michael Tse also delivered an academic lecture titled "The Evolving Power Grid Towards a Greener Future". (School of Artificial Intelligence and Automation)
